Students with a Bachelor’s degree in Ethnology, Anthropology or the equivalent are automatically admissible at the program. Students with a Bachelor’s degree from the Faculties of Humanities, Arts or Social Sciences may be admitted to the masters program if they can demonstrate approved course work in the field of cultural theory, cultural analysis or ethnographic methods adding up to 30 ECTS. Students from non-Nordic or non-English speaking countries will have to show proof of proficiency in the English language demonstrated in one of the following ways:
• English at Danish level B or equivalent
• Paper-based TOEFL test with a minimum score af 575
• Computerbased TOEFL test with a minimum score of 233
• IELTS test with a minimum score of 6.5
• Cambridge CPE passed
Selection is based on academic qualifications and a letter of intent of max 2 pages. Here you must state your motivation for studying at MACA, your visions for a future career and your skills in cultural analysis.
We recommend non-Danish students to apply simultaneously to the University of Copenhagen and the University of Lund. This would increase your chances of being accepted to the program.
